This is an update to our devoted gamers who play our servers and may have been wondering why they could "see" our servers out there in Haloland, but alas, could not join in the games. At some point On the weekened starting around Friday 9/12'ish there was apparently some issue with GameSpy which was allowing people to "see" the servers in their Halo Internet Lobby, but they could not see the ping listed with the server, nor could they join or attach to the game. After much troubleshooting and the like, and working with our hosting company, who was absolutely of no help whatsoever for almost a week!!! >:( we finally fixed the problem ourselves and finally got them up and ready Friday evening 9/19. In the meantime, if you saw some folks playing on these servers, it was because some of our clan members figured out that even though you could not join via the Halo internet lobby, players could still connect using a Direct IP (keep this in mind if you have similar problems in the future). The subsequent week-long downage of our servers caused them to slip in the server rankings: ROCKTGULCH, which has enjoyed being #1 for several weeks now subsequently slipped to #5; however, I checked today and it has risen to #3 - give it a couple weeks and we will be #1 once again! Anyway, after much frustration and spent energy we are back in the running now. Everyone can resume having fun and pwning on each other!
