Hey, I've been using X-fire for awhile now, mostly out of games, and it has come in very handy when looking for a good game with friends, or, in the case of this last week, catching hacks. I think it would be a good idea if we all used it, it is small and free!

Link to download: XFire.com

XFire is a gaming tool that has the following features:

* Keep track of your friends that also have XFire
* Chat with your friends privately, in a chatroom, or with voice chat
* Send and receive files directly to and from your friends
* Keep track of what games you play and for how long
* Take Screenshots
* Record Video (Can store up to 1Gb of video on your profile)
* Acts as an ingame web browser and chatbox
* Has an ingame FPS meter and clock that can be positioned anywhere on the screen
* Launch your games and join your friends ingame
* Acts as a massive masterserver list, allowing you to see all your favourite servers without launching the game
* Set favourite servers
* Create a profile on the XFire website that shows all the info you care to give
* Create a mini profile like the one above
* Upload your PC specs to your online profile so your friends can see what kind of gaming rig you have

XFire is an awesome and extremely useful tool, as you can see. It is also free, and only takes up about 16Mbs on your hard drive, so there's absolutely no reason not to download it. All we ask is that you leave it running and logged in when you're at your PC, so we can see when you're on. This allows us to get hold of you should we need to, and also so you can get hold of us should the need arise. It also makes communication among the clan that bit easier. And, it allows XF to tally up your gaming hours.

If any of you really want to play some scrimmages, something like this will come in handy.
It also lets you join servers from X-Fire, so if we scrimmage in a private server, it may be necessary, it is the only way I know of to go into a server by ip, there maybe a way from the console, I'm not sure

Thanks Furby, but I'd need a Linux client.
