History: Omega Fleet started out dealing with the Omega threat, not only to the Federation, but the entire Galaxy. After the Shinzon incident involving the Enterprise, Starfleet decided that it was best for the Omega Fleet to be put on active duty as a pillar within the Federation. From that point, the Omega Fleet has engaged in many skirmishes with threats from the Romulans, Klingons, Borg and Dominion.
