Have you ever had raid roster decisions based more on meters or tier lists than actual logs? How did your group handle it?

Had something similar after a few rough pulls where our raid lead mostly focused on the top of the damage meter. I didn’t want to spend another raid night arguing about my spot in the group, so I went with a wow raid carry for Heroic instead. Got the bosses I needed done for the week and avoided more roster drama.
