STOP PRESS - ALL MUST READ THIS IS AN OUTRAGE... IT APPEARS THAT IW HAVE DONE AWAY WITH DEDICATED SERVERS, PUNKBUSTER AND AGRCON TYPE TOOLS.... THIS MEENS NO PB ON SERVERS NO PB STREAMING THEY WILL BE RUNNING VAC ANTI CHEAT WHICH IS THE USELESS CRAP THEY USE ON STEAM AND SOURCE GAMES.... THERE WILL BE NO SERVER LISTS - GAMES WILL BE MATCHED UP BY PLAYER SKILL ALL OF OUR REGULAR CLAN STUFF WILL BE FUCKED - ALL SERVERS WILL BE BAISICLY CONTROLLED BY IW WITH OWNERS BEING ABLE TO CHANGE MAPS/GAMETYPES ONLY. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUST JOIN OUR BUSIEST SERVERS THIS IS INSANE READ THIS STATEMENT BY FOURZEROTWO WHO IS ONE OF THE MAIN DEV'S FOR MW2 READ THEN SIGN THE PETITION ON THE LINK BELOW IW's own FourZeroTwo has commented that Modern Warfare 2 will not have dedicated servers or PunkBuster. QUOTE : * We're doing a lot on the backend to make the game accessible for everyone. * There is no delay for the PC version of MW2 * There's prestige mode * Jason West at the MP event, said that he was dead on, on the matchmaking servers. We've been building a system on the backend called IW.NET. * You are completely reliant on IW.NET. There are no server lists.
