what are you using to connect ? looks like you need revloader or steamup.
The last thing we are testing is the new c.r.a.c.k from Stryder, which works ok so far:

Configure path for steam or left4dead2.exe in stryder.ini properly
Apply over clean files, without any other fix or dll mix.
It has two minor bugs:
- Name not set correctly, make a bind to change it:
bind F5 "setinfo name Balcanico"
- It displays an error message when closing.
