Ive noticed that recently when trying to join a SGC guns server that I have been banned. I don't know who did it or why it was done. I don't know when it was done because it was done after logging off. If any admin could shed some light on this it would be very helpful.

Ban #1 (one week):

02-20-2010 - "Abusive- came into spiders server deleted the elevator i gave him the talk and he got pissy then he spawned 200 boxes and lagged everything. so i put him on a 1 week ban."

02-21-2010 - My comments: "I discussed this with ShadowHunt@r and finished with this-
Well, the fact is, you did something wrong, an admin called you on it, you seemed disrespectful back, did something to retaliate even if you didn't consider it an issue, and admin took a common action of deterrent. Beaver is a Jr. admin and actually is a little more respectful in length of discipline that us Sr. admins are more strict with. Had I been in the server when what was said happened, it would be 1 month minimum, possibly 3 or permanent depending on my mood. Our MOTD (message of the day) when entering the server states 5 times to respect other players and the admins. What you reportedly did was not respectful."

Ban 2 (3 Months):

02-27-2010 - "Ignoring admins"

04-04-2010 - My comments: "ShadowHunt@r12[F7]: I would like to apologize about my actions on your servers. i know better than to act the way i did. i wasnt thinking clearly about the implications of what i did. do you accept my apology?

Geek_Loco: ok, so from now on you will listen to the admins and if non-admins ask to stop doing things that they consider obnoxious you will stop and play as a team?

ShadowHunt@r12[F7]: certianly

Geek_Loco: Geek_Loco: ok, apology accepted and I will lift your ban.

ShadowHunt@r12[F7]: Thank you."

Ban 3 (Permanent):

04-11-2010 - "From Evil Cupmunk - i need you to ban someone for me, ShadowHunter12[F7], STEAM_1:1:26391448, massive spawning, crashing the server on purpose."

04-11-2010 - My comments: "This is the third ban for him. Unless there is a verifiable mistaken identity, this ban is irreversible. He will not learn, so he can stay out of our servers."

to note, the steam ID was given to me from someone in game who is a very trustworthy player. he said, and i paraphrase slightly "he flew up to the top and it was like it was raining firework boxes. he shot the boxes and the server crashed"

now looking into it, the server itself didnt crash. it did something that is very common as i stress test my servers all the time. once the server cant take it any more, it will stop responding to certain people over a certain latency. Long story short, it causes the persons game to crash. this is what i call a "light crash" as it doesnt crash the server, but makes hell on others in the server.

what geek said for your first ban holds true. we senior admin are much more strict on the rules because in the end, most of us are the ones flipping the bill for them. in our servers we give only so many chances. i would have perminatly banned you for talking back to one of my admins. that is just an unthinkable thing to do if you enjoy playing on our servers. and you did that twice. im not even that mad about the spawning by itself. but all three added together i wont forgive.

so in summery incase you skipped everything i said, i support geeks decision on a perminant ban as i did when we first discussed it. even more so now that i know what your other 2 bans were for.

What? Who was the one who said this?

Actually, forget about it. I just give up trying to enjoy the SGC guns and being a part of it. It seems its not for me and I shouldn't be on them.

Nothing Further.
