Dear SGC, It has come to my unfortunate attention that I have been banned on all SGC servers on Left 4 Dead 2. It was settled with the initial complaint from < Mr. M@goo > and cpt.eagle. From what I've been able to pick up, their complaint was about friendly fire from me. All three of us were in the same server and at the time I had been using Explosive Ammo. The game starts. After being idle for about a minute, Mr. M@goo asks me, "What's with all the friendly fire coming from you?" I respond with "I'm using explosive rounds, the range on the explosion is huge and I can't really help it." "(Paraphrasing) Stop using it, it's hurting other people" "But there's no friendly fire on the server. If anyone's being hurt, it's me from losing points." We all go silent for a couple minutes. Mr. M@goo goes idle (unmoving) again. I switch out of the game to check on something. On my return, I had to reactivate the window which fired my weapon, sending a wave of the explosive ammo explosion in all directions. Right as I had done this, I turn around to notice Mr. M@goo, still in his idle position, had a few gascans underneath him. The explosion sparked them, and he doesn't bother to move, but seconds later starts to complain about it. I apologize and defib him back to life. He then goes on to complain about the past. I didn't think much of this at first. Now a little background info. This was the second game I've played with Mr. M@goo. The first game was a few days prior, playing on the Dead Center campaign. I quickly learn that he's ranked number 4 by checking the top10 list, I then admire and congratulate him for that. Out of curiosity I asked him "Are you an admin?". He doesn't respond at first, but I ask him a few more times, and I get some strange feedback. I'm not sure if he was having some audio issues, either with his mic or speakers, but afterward he stopped using his mic. He eventually does tell me he's an admin. Later on, right outside the mall, I start my usual method for gaining points at a moderate rate. This was with Bile + Gascans, and unsurprisingly, the other 2 beginners in the server either unknowing of crawling when incapped and would crawl into the fire right when they figure it out, or would run into the fire and not know that they could crawl. So they would die, and eventually I would defib them. Mr. M@goo saw my ability to spawn props, jetpack, and spawn items from the tankbuster menu, and criticized me for "showing off". I don't blame him though, most people that join the server don't know how to do even bring up the tankbuster menu. Mr. M@goo brings up these events in the initial game, and says "im sick of your shit". I instantly recalled how he disliked how I was able to do all these things, and I ask 'about what?'. He then goes on to list a few things that he didn't like me doing. And naturally, I wanted to defend my position and argued back. One of the things was that I was "killing everyone (the entire team) with fire". I think he misunderstood what was going on outside of the mall and probably saw me as just killing people but didn't realize how many common infected I was killing intentionally. I then argue that it wouldn't benefit me at all, as I would lose points and would risk a ban as I knew he was an admin. The second thing was that he said I was "claiming to be an admin". This probably tied into the misunderstanding of my first question of "Are you an admin?" and how he criticized me for being able to do so many things. I never claimed to be an admin. I then confront him to explain why I thought he disliked me and tried reasoning with him. After hearing my arguments, he goes silent for about 5 minutes. From what I can remember, the entire time cpt. eagle was playing on his own, doing his own things. Mr. M@goo finally responds, him and cpt. eagle are discussing how to go about banning me, if they talked with Geek_Loco about me, etc. Mr. M@goo then says if I argued again, he would ban me. I then left, seeing as I couldn't do much from there. Later that night, hours later, I got that ban. I have no idea if cpt. eagle has anything against me as I only played with him for a few games, and most of them he never talked. But most of the time he was off doing his own thing away from the other 3 players, so my interactions with him were limited. When I got that ban, I didn't know what happened. No one notified me, the ban message didn't tell me how long it was, who did it, or why. I was in-game, then I got disconnected, and it gave me the default ban message of "You have been banned by this server, for more info check: http://www.gametracker.com/clan/sgcguns/forum.php". So not knowing what happened or how long the ban was, I kept checking back, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10, 30, 1 hour. It wasn't until the next day that I ask beaver why I was banned, he was in-game with Geek_Loco, and he asked him. beaver tells me that Geek_Loco banned me for 2 weeks. Then days later I learn about this site: {link removed}, and learn that it was extended to 1 month for multiple attempts at rejoining. But I had no idea what happened or how long the ban was, assuming it was the same as a votekick, I kept trying to rejoin. And I apologize, Geek_Loco, if rejoining had any negative effects on the servers, the database, etc. But I hadn't known about anything until days after the initial ban. I apologize to Mr. M@goo if he misunderstood what I was talking about with the explosive ammo, the gascans, or my question asking him if he was an admin. I'm sure most of this was a series of misunderstandings, and Mr. M@goo being unresponsive or silent for minutes at a time, I would assume he was having audio issues. And again, Geek_Loco, you have my apologies for the rejoin attempts, I don't know if it has any negative effects on any of your resources.

After speaking with DM2K who has spoke with you and Mr M@goo, I have just shortened your ban so that it is now expired. You are now free to join any of the servers in our group.
