my steam info "[NoMates] Moog" STEAM_1:0:5382699

I was browsing for games and your server said that I was banned and referred me here. I have never been banned before

I have never used hacks of any kind, I have played on your LD42 turbo server but that was quite a while ago.

I have never met any of your admins however I did attempt to register with your other forum, but you have still not processed my request.

I did want to post you with regard to an incident on your server where another player was vote kicking people for no reason, other than he wanted his friends to join. He somehow managed to kill the server and kicked everyone, I don't think he had admin I believe it was a glitch because if he was truely an admin he would have used a console command to identify himself. As he had attmpted to vote kick me I returned the favor and all the other people he had been harassling did the same.

I do not feel this is worthy of a ban as I was in the right further the player in question was verbally abusive and rascist and if one of your admins had been present he would have been removed very quickly I am sure.

Please remove the bad as it is diconecerting to browse for a game and have a message saying I have been banned, when I have never done anthing to warrant one.

additional information

^2=GP=^Maximpeg
^2=GP=^BLocko rocko
^2=GP=^1CHEBUREK
^2=GP=GREEN ^1DAY

These were the people who were kicking people off the server to play together, Green ^day I belive was the person who bombed your server
I have the record date stamped as the 20/2/2010 16:19 if that helps you in searching the console logs for his rascist abuse, I belive he typed some of it so you can see for yourself.

We will look into the ban ASAP. it is possible that it was during that, or possibly a ban on you mistakenly. But once we check the ban log we will let you know.

as for possible admins. None of those names ring a bell as for admins. as for killing the server, he most likely spawned too much of something which caused the server to stop responding and auto-restart.

one question though, which server did the problem with the other players occur on?

Hey lemoog,
I am kinda tied up at the moment but have looked over most of the info and will elaborate shortly. We appreciate the list of names. I will explain why you were banned in a bit, but should lift the ban also.

We have 8 servers that you can type "!goods" in.

I have dropped your ban from 1 month to 3 weeks, effectively making it expired as of now.

What happened is one of our good players was in or trying to get in the server when all of this went down and she gave me information on yourself, GreenDay, and Maximpeg. GreenDay had a ban previously, and based upon information of that ban, I gave him a permanent ban. Yourself and Maximpeg had one month bans. I am not sure if you were fighting with them or what my friend had witnessed, but she apparently figured you had a part in it. Our apologies if you were trying to help us out and, once again, we appreciate the assistance that you have just passed on to us about the situation. We hope that you don't have any further issues in our servers.

Also, I have changed the registration approval on our "official" forums as we have been getting way too many registrations from a specific foreign country, in which the individuals registering probably don't even know what an FPS is. I have just went through the waiting registrations and activated your account. If you need to contact us, you can now do so here or there.

Cheers
