Ive been playinf on your server lately, server 68.232.174.142:27015, and i want to know, is someone messing with me, i would be playinf with my friends on that server and theyd get kicked off with a message that said "banned" and only that. And now ive got this message and im just wonder, is a admin(s) kicking me or someother person for no reason and just for kicks, or are we being "banned" for no reason.

With out any information, like Steam names and possibly SteamIDs of you and your friends that are getting banned messages, how do we know who you are? Should we just guess?

We need information to be able to give information.

And no, our admins don't kick or ban for no reason or "just for kicks". It has not happened before and if it is found out it will be dealt with appropriately.

You were banned for a week (now expired) at the same time as someone named "Ive_" (permanent) by cpt.eagle on "Tbagn's World" on 03-10-2010 17:52. I will have to check with him on the specifics for "Ive_", but it looks like your ban may have had to do with friendly fire in shooting or maybe excessive molotov use on friendlies. Let me speak to cpt.eagle to see what he remembers.

well the ban was just about 20 minutes, and it did not have the message that i think you supposed to get that turns you to this website just "banned" which is why i think something was wrong

If it happens again, please try to collect for us: Server # or name, day, your time (and your timezone), and if you were already in the server and for how many minutes/hours before you were kicked or if you got the message when trying to enter the server for the first time that day.

We have had a couple servers that were not connecting to our ban site and needed local ban config setup. I thought those had been removed when the servers were reconnected to the site, but I will go check all of the servers when I get home. If that is the case, I apologize in advance.

sounds like a kick to me. if you kick someone it gives them a temp ban with only the message that you have been banned. it usually only lasts about 5 minutes though. i have had experience with that while i was trying to get an admin kick immunity working awhile back

the banned is actually in the programming of the server itself. it says that because technically you were banned. it creates a local ban for a short time
