Reason for ban: Accidentally deleted the boat.

I said sorry right after i accidentally deleted boat, I binded my tankbuster key very close to the delete button. I did not ruin the finale by intention. And Admin, LokiFrost just banned me right away.

In my defense, first I'm not an ass, I really did delete the boat by accident, and I added planks to try save the situation ( I played with friends on dark carnivals finale before, friends deleted the chopper, but I added planks, and the finale ended as usual. ) I also said sorry RIGHT after I made that mistake.

I've played with people who glitched the finale, with intentions and accidents. And solution to that was either to restart the finale, or try fix it.

I'm here to protest that Admin - LokiFrost to be very immature from reaction to my mistake. I have appologized, but currently I am banned from all SGC Guns server. I understand that he owns several of these servers, but this is no way to treat a player just made a mistake and wasted 45 minutes of his life.

- L4D2 is just a game, no reason to get so worked up on it just because one of the team members made a mistake. It wasn't intentional in the first place anyway!
- I thought SGC Guns members and admins are both nice and pleasant, and wishing to join the clan. But after this immature ban, I have doubts of joining it. Sure I enjoy the great perks these servers offer, but if it means to kiss admin's ass, then I thought SGC wrong, this is not a nice clan at all.

For one, it was NOT an immature ban, deleting the finale vehicle can crash the server and give the server owner a lil bit of hassle to bring it back up...second, do not base a clan on 1 player, thats profiling and hurts our feelings

No. This is the actual reason why...

If you are kicked/banned...the absolute last thing you want to every do is to post a ban protest that starts off "...Immature Ban..." and then go and try to quote a COC; and then end with a backhanded insult.

Until I read this post I had actually thought that perhaps I was a little heavy handed.

In the future, read the server rules. They are there for a reason.

These are our servers and our rules. You happened to be playing on a server that is particularly strict on this type of asshattery.

1. as mentioned, creating a post saying immature ban is not a good idea
2. Accidents do happen yes. and true, IF you did apologize, and no other reasons, a ban was a little heavy.
3. You ONLY protest an admin for abuse. This does not warrant protesting an admin. However you should be protesting just the ban itself. the more professional you protest, the better.
4. Deleting the boat....honestly it is very possible, especially if your building near it.


We will consult the logs and go from there. Loki, please refer to the source logs in server and post the area around ban so that the rest of the "staff" can have a better understanding of what happened. Unless, this has already been handled.

Yeah, but as I understand it, before the second tank spawned or before the finale' started, Nicole rotated the gate to go through and build near the dock. Ask Damian Payne about the Wrath of Loco when I saw that he did it while I was in the server before Chip made him an admin but after we lifted his ban. Eagle was there, he saw me go off on Payne. I will be adding to the MOTD what I expected to be taken for granted that none of the "essential" items, like that gate, the radios, escape vehicles, event triggers, etc. are not to be altered in any way. No rotating, deleting, etc.

Just because someone can do that a hundred times in a day and try to use that as an excuse and say it doesn't bother the server doesn't mean squat to me! It screws up more often in L4D1, but it DOES happen in L4D2, so I am not taking "well, it has never happened to me!" as an excuse.

ok, this needs to be addressed again i see since nothing is being said further on it. Perminant ban is too far. that being said. a 1 week for the problem, and ANOTHER week for the way the protest was made. That seems pretty fair with how we have been doing things. so that would put it as 5 june. any disagree?

If my opinion even matters...but yeah 2 weeks seems fine.

For any of those that hasn't picked up on the idea of how a protest works and how you address anyone that owns a server or a clan leader you address them as SO. If you show a direct disrespect to anyone in charge or owner of a server. I WILL FROM THIS day forth PERMA ban you regardless of the situation from server #21 PERIOD. If you need to be educated on how to post a protest Please see below, it is a great example of how to address an admin with your concerns of a ban.

Secondly - Everyone needs to show respect to Loki and allow him to address this situation personally. Once Loki has made a decision he will contact GEEK directly about what he would like done. Follow the chain of command, you of all people should know that Chip, carry on.

I agreed with atomic. since this case have been disscus on two places and much more came up on the other place i still see it as a perm ban. but since it is lokis ban it is hes decision and im fine with what ever he decide
