Battlefield Heroes , is a "new" step in the Battlefield franchise, it is mostly aimed at casual gamers or gamers who like funny, cartoony and not too serious game play and it is FREE TO PLAY.
In Heroes we have two factions fighting on the virtual battlefield against each other:
The ‘National Army’ and the ‘Royal Army’.

Factions
Both Factions are equal when it comes to balance. They might use different weapons, but these weapons match each other in strength, ammo, speed, etc.

So, for example the heavy machine gun of the National Army does the same damage as the heavy machine gun of the Royal Army. The only way the factions differ, is in the way they look, so you will recognize them by their apparel, the way they walk and so on.Talking about the default weapons here.
Of course it wouldn't be EA if they wouldn't put better weapons for people that are willing to pay , so yes you will see a lots of people with way way better weapons that do way more dmg than the default weapons , however you can buy yourself weapons for your VP (Valor Points) that do almost same dmg as the $$ ones ,but those weapons don't stay permanently on your account as the $$ ones,but the game it self is still very fun to play. Best way to "suck" most fun of it as always is to get your friends together that are about same level ,use same (default) weapons etc...

Just remember that if it has a red name above it, SHOOT IT!

You can easily recognize your friends by their names written in blue above their heads and the big blue cross when you aim at them.

Matchmaking
yes, we all know that matchmaking sux donkeys butt ,but once you connect to a server you can bookmark it by pressing TAB and F5 simultaneously ,so after while you can have a lots of servers bookmarked and than just connect and find an empty one and let your friends to connect there (via friend future)

Voice
the game doesn't support mics so i suggest using TeamSpeak or Ventrilo
the game has chat future and very funny emoticons

Heroes
You can create up to four Heroes and it is currently NOT possible to delete them.So watch out for that
However, you can buy more slots ($$)so you can create more, new Heroes. Simply click on the "Get more Hero slots" button on your profile page.

The Classes
There are three different classes in Heroes. We have the Gunner, the Soldier and the Commando.

Every class has its special features, but they all have some things in common.

They can all carry two weapons, and one explosive to use against vehicles or careless infantry.

They all are able to use every single vehicle type and they all have special Abilities, but the Abilities are different for each class.

The level cap (highest level you can reach) at the moment is level 30.
On the way up, you will earn Hero Points and unlock new clothing for Valor Points and Battlefunds.
Every 2nd level you earn 1 Hero Point (HP) so you use that HP for your heroes abilities

There are 3 types of vehicles aircraft ,tank and car
