it would be pointless to reset server stats. it should be a log of the server not just who got the highest score each month. i believe i should have some say as someone who has invested money into this.

btw i don't think anyone is ever going to read this. if we want a change in the server we need to talk to people and/or communicate to them a different way than this.

You've got a point. I'm not against it, I just feel like we need to reserve the right to reset stats if someone is abusing the server. I think resetting once a month would be a fair and equal way of keeping everyone on the same page, metaphorically speaking.

people score a lot more during the matches. if they want to waste their time getting 50xp here and there playing by themselves so be it. you can easily score 1000xp or more during our games together if you are good at your position. besides, people need some motivation to get better. i play way better after spending 4 years getting my butt kicked by people who were out of my league.

I agree with you. If someone wants to boost their stats that way, they probably aren't very good in the first place.

Another issue I have though is how are we going to track who is playing and who isn't? We already have several people on the server list that have changed their name. So now they have two lines on the stat page. I see no problem removing those names from the list but how will we know who they are?

you should just leave all the names. it makes our server look more popular.

Please don't reset the server stats. Nobody cheated, so the time they put in was fair for the points they got. Also, the stats don't mean anything. So whoever has the most points earned them, and that's all there is to it I think. It's not like if you have no stats you can't kill anyone. And it's not hard to max out your own after just a few games. Also, keep in mind you will only make stats reset for like two days, after which that person will be maxed again. If you wanted to make it truly fair, you just have it not save stats at all. Once you disconnect, you lose the points.

i think that it will suck to have to play against people with high stats right away but Darren is right... you only get better by playing better people and as it will be hard to face people that are better and have a medic that can full res... so be it. Save the stats and if it gets to a point where we think about resetting them after 3 or 4 months then we do it then. Fair enought eh? I'm ready to get my butt kicked. Cause then i'll kick some butt too.

so i was thinking it was about different stats... my bad... yes we should reset every month to 2 months... those stats don't really mean anything they are just bragging rights and if you want to show you are the best... be number 1 every month
