Anyone do much scripting. After working the pyro panic to work with my competitive script I'm kind of looking into it.
Competitive TF2 Scripts http://code.google.com/p/tf2compconfiguration/ Great bunch of scripts that are allowed for competitive play (unless the leauge says so) These are not .exe's but game configurations that help competitive players. Features include... Autoreload Optimized settings custom binds

I got my scripts from http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Category:Community_scripts, its where i got autoreload, rapid pistol, and rapid stickies script from. Those are be far the only scripts i need to play the game, sucks that the rapid ones are useless with sv_allow_wait_command 0

That's the same config package I use. They took out rapid fire to conform to the cevo rules in the last update. They also have hotkeys for autoreload (handy for the fan) and just about everything else.

Scripts suck, learn to play.
![]() I tried the auto reload script, (Reluctantly.) and it really fucked up my rhythm in game. I've just trained myself to reload as soon as I stop firing. It's just habit now. It also forced me to hold down M1 to shoot the scouts pistol. (Sloooow.) Otherwise I could only pop off 3 shots in some cases (Mostly.) and it would reload before the clip was done. Sometimes it would fire the whole clip, and I was firing at the same rate at all times. Fast fire is reeeeally lame. I don't care if it's legal, it's cheap. I will not use fast fire scripts. Call me a purist, but I like the playing field to be even. Sure anyone can go out and get these scripts, but MOST wont. |

How is the playing field even if the enemies are using scripts too?
Autoreload is pretty much the same as holding down the reload button, is makes no difference, I think of the autoreload script as an easier way to hold the reload button down without actually holding it. As for rapid fire, I agree, its kinda cheap, but most good scouts wouldn't need to use their pistol anyways, as their scattergun does more damage at point blank. |

The pistol scripts are out with that wait command dealie, and the scripts do a lot of stuff. I like the scripts though I haven't tried any huds.
If I knew HOW to write all these wonderful scripts I would, I actually did code that pyro panic script with some inspiration and code to go off of, but for someone who's never scripted its a little daunting. Also that's the reason for the scripts. Its for people who don't know how to script, but want to play with them. |

Ya, I'm not going to use scripts. I'm on Wolf's side here, it would just throw my game off I feel.
