PS: Another channel of interest you might want to think about joining is #Tf2.Gather.us which is basically a tf2 pick up games channel where you play competitively with others...

PSS: If you have never worked with mIRC or any kind of IRC client, then please read the rest of this post as I will explain how to get into the channel and chat with us.


First of all you need to have an IRC client, most people use mIRC which is available for download with a 30 day trial... After you get an IRC client (any will work by the way) you need to connect to the Gamesurge networks. To do that run the client and then either type "/connect irc.gamesurge.net 6667" without the "'s or set up your default server to be irc.gamesurge.net with the port 6667.


Now that you are in the server you can join the channel, just type /join #The.CHZ.Clan and you will join our lovely chat room. I also recommend setting up a Gamesurge account and being authorized when you are in the server because it gives you access to certain commands that you might find handy. To do this follow the next instructions.


First go to http://www.gamesurge.net/createaccount/
Set up the account and then follow the instructions on the email that they send... Then you are all set and authorized.
