Phil's hardware review...the Coolit Domino A.L.C

So after reading a bunch of great reviews on the new Coolit Domino A.L.C I bought. 10 minutes into install I have decided to rename the Advanced Liquid Cooling (A.L.C.) part of the name to Assembly Lacks Common sense...or A$$ Licking C@#$suckers, whichever you prefer.

Basically it is a cheap unit and if you can get it to install without the tubes breaking and soaking your core I7 chip and Mobo then I'm sure it works great. I however wouldn't trust it to last so I'm giving it 3 thumbs down. Two small thumbs on the sides and one big thumb down the middle.

I'll get back to you on my feelings about CoolIt customer relations shortly

so drew at coolit got back to me and before I told him how it broke he said "There was a design flaw in the barb where it connects to the radiator and that is fixed now". My confidence level in Coolit went up a couple of points

so I agreed to get one of the "redesigned" Domino's...I know I'm a big pussy but after playing on the new rig last night I forgot I was mad about something. I told him after that if it breaks again theirs no way I don't want another. He said if it breaks again in that spot we'll look at an upgrade.

So if this one works I will recant my review, which sux cuase then I'll have to go to the 7 or so hardware review forums that I joined on Friday and badmouthed this thing.

If only there was a way or a product that was just a dry freezer type storage place for your rig to sit in. Anytime I hear of liquid being used in electronics just makes me nervous. Props to your labor of love!!!

Labor of love until it breaks and spays liquids all over your goods.. Then it quickly becomes a labor of HATRED.
