The definitive origin of The Pantless is kind of sketchy.
The legends say that The Pantless all started with a group of friends that used to go to a local internet cafe, Internet Network Games, or ING for short. There used to be many people that went, including those were Kugar, Bomber, Casey, Steve, Jason, and two different Rob's.
It is said that one day Casey came in and told everyone to put “the pantless" after their names. Thinking that it was funny they all went along with it. Later they learned that he got the idea of putting “the pantless" after our names by playing DOD 1.6 naked (its gross I know).
Time went by, people went away to college, and ING went out of business and so did the clan.
Bomber and Kugar took it upon themselves to revive the clan. They bought a

28 slot server to see where it would go. It came with such success that they then made a web page and a ventrilo server off of bombers home computer. Later they upgraded the Counter-Strike server to a 32 slot server through Speedwise.net . They were getting so many hits on bombers computer that we went through one last upgrade to a 36 slot CS:S server. At the same time they added a ventrilo server and a web site all hosted through speedwise. They started getting donations of money and more importantly, they had a server donated to them by a Pantless member. After some turmoil, some members of The Pantless including bomber left the clan to start their own clan.
The Pantless revived itself and thought of ways of expanding and showing the CS:S community that they were not dead as a clan. They started being more active and also decided to switch the clan to CAL-O so we can play competitively.
This is a story of the beginnings of The Pantless. Many things have changed since then, members have come and gone, servers have been changed, but one thing has always remained the same.
We are The Pantless
Recently The Pantless went through a major setback. We had full servers, loads of regulars, and things seemed to be going better than anyone had ever hoped for, then our server provider attempted to take over the clan by shutting down peoples admin abilities and removing members from the clan. This happened in November of 2007. When this happened Duck-Man contacted Yihya of [trP] requesting help. [trP] was at one time a group of regulars on Pub1 that formed into a clan, and seeing what was happening offered us 2 servers for us to use.
After a short time Pantless now has a website online and a Ventrilo server for voice communication. As of December 2007 we are attracting new regulars to our servers and are well underway to becoming the gaming giant we used to be.
In 2009 things started to slide a bit.
Members started to leave and players complained of lag & reg problems for months with and relief.
We are the Pantless. WE ARE BACK!
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AROUND IN THE SERVERS!
Now since that is such an awesome story, we invite you to become part of the heritage of playing here at The Pantless. So don't waste your time, head over to the forums, create an account, and put in an application and see if you can get accepted. The easiest way to continue making a difference is to become an admin and the best way to make sure that you always are playing on the pantless servers are to make sure you have a reserved slot! Don''t forget that!
