I usually get 10-40 fps, however i would like to get about 60, i would like to know of all the tips you guys have on making tf2 run smoother.

specs:
AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core, 2.70 GHz
3.50 GB RAM

and a NVIDIA GeForce 8200 display adapter
(i doubt it can tun tf2 @ higher than 60 fps.

I also get crashes where the sound loops, and the screen turns to the colour of the most used colour on the last frame. ie red wall = pure red screen. and i cant alt F4, ctrl alt del, or ctrl w, so i end up just power on / off. its also frequent.

hmmm... sounds like ur windows installation has a mucked up registry... how often do u optimize ur registry?

i doubt i have, because i could not tell you how to do that with the words optimize my registry, but if its called something else slang i mightve done it.

then that i slikely it... u gonna need to find a decent free registry optomization utility

lmfao i wish i hade even 30 fps i have 24 as highest lol
