The Ultimate Guide to Dealing with Spawnkillers

Recently, I have encountered a fair number of spawnkillers, mostly on the x3 server (probably because you can get into spawn). This is a problem because it gives the attacker an unfair advantage.

Definition of a Spawnkiller:
Any player who attacks an enemy player while said enemy player is still in his team's spawn. See "Definition of Spawn" for more.

Definition of Spawn:
On the orange maps, the large room where players appear. As long as they have not fallen from the ramp/ledge, they are in spawn. Once they leave the building by falling off the ledge they recognize that they are ready to play and engage the enemy.

Criteria for Being Rightfully in Enemy Spawn:
You may go into the enemy spawn (if able to) without commiting Spawnkill. As long as you are a peaceful presence you may remain. Harassing players or firing your weapon are considered hostile intentions and constitute Spawnkill.

How to Deal With Spawnkillers:
1) Warn them: Depending on personal preference, this could be either a typed/said warning or a kick.
2) Punish: If they persist, kick them. If you kicked them as a warning, ban them (not permanantly, just perhaps 10 minutes-24 hours)

It's always good to have screenshots, just in case.

Remember, like my Melee Rules, you don't have to follow these. These are just helpful tips to improve life in TIA/TF2. Feel free to post additions, comments, and questions.
