I got to thinking, and I was wondering. How do you make a game server? Do you need a server computer? What kind of software do you need on it?
I'm just wondering, If anyone knows. |

u can use the one in steam, but it is not configurable, moddable, or adminable, in any real sense of the3 terms
is not efficient or fun... plus u client is running the game, so u cannot play best to do as i stated above if u got the bandwidth and computing resourses |

Cool, I have an old computer that has a 2.0 + CPU, which I heard is the most important thing. And it is in the attic roting away. It has 10 Gigs of HD space. It has Windows 2000 as the Operating System. And I could probably have it on from 3 - 10PM weekdays, and all day on weekends. So thats available I guess.
Just need to set it up. I'm just going to try it on my good PC, if it works and everything, I'm definitely setting this Shit up. (people at that place ar so nice, answered my question in a sec)
