Every player on both servers kept getting disconnected today because of "Invalid Steam userID ticket". It happened to me every five minutes or so. I also noticed some unusual lag, with one player completely freezing in place for a few seconds, even floating in the air, while I could move freely around them. When it happened to me, it wasn't like usual where my character kept moving and my screen jerked while I caught up with it; I just froze completely, and when it started working again I was in the same place.

those are valve's bugs... the ticket bug happens when valves servers go down... my server thinks u are not a valid player because it cannot verify u have a valid steam id.

i noticed the network being goofy myself during that time... i assume the lag issues were related as well...

i have been doing some work to the database as well, and that may have plyaed a part as well...

please post back if this continues to be an issue... a demo, and some info about time of day, map, #number of players, and any other details u might remeber are always a big help in the debugging process

thank u for your post... it is often that this is the first place i hear about buigs that are less severe... i e not crashing server... when that happens my IM blows up!! lol

not usually on tf2 more often in l4d when i lag my issue is i lag then the last second of sound i hear will loop for a while the loop FASTER then slower and i have to reboot not excatly sure what causes it but it can be very annoying
