I have added a new class lvl to the clan ranks... the tag is seen above and is self explanatory. from today on... all applicants will be required to wear the above shown tag to denote their "Prospect" status. only with good player habbits and attitude will they (with clan approval) be allowed to wear the official {TIA} this will give us a chance to know the "noobs" a bit before we let them sign up.

Hey all... i been really busy as of late and have had little time for play =( i am still working hard on clan servers to always improve our experience. that said, there are some new things i should mention. Source-TV is running on both servers... u can now spectate the server without using a slot, or letting players know u are there... cheaters beware... big brother may b watching i am trying out a plugin that tells admin about possible aimbot usage... i imagine u admins have seen the console spam... here is the deal: it false positives... a lot... (especially when shooter is looking up or down) so it does not necessarily mean a player is cheating. it watches for "snap" value of 100 degrees or more (player field of view is only 60 degrees so in thoery the shooter could not know to target another player 100 degrees off of center, as they would be behind them) and alerts admins if it sees one. these are somewhat common in a laggy environment, however are also indicative of an aimbot at work, so if it is alerting a bunch on a p[layer who is getting the impossible score... u may have a cheater... spec him to be sure before taking action... i am not sure we will keep this plugin... it will depend whether the annoying chat spam is worth the added information... i am still playing with it... let me know u alls thoughts... thanx for the continued support... =()- -DPK-

In my never ending efforts to move our gaming experience forward, i have implemented a MySQL server for stats storage... this has enabled me to globalize our scores. This means that points earned on one server are now reflected on both servers... Unfortunately this new data base is not the same as the old onem, and i have been unable to extract our scores from the old one to add them to the new one... not to mention the 800+ accounts i would have to hand edit... data entry hell!!! This also allows the not yet completely online third server anoung our members...(ya u heard me)... to participate in this global scoring... as well as any future additions. <on knees> please, please forgive me for my inability to extract that data... i really did look for a way. in very near future...(later today?)... i will be posting a web interface that will put all of our scores up for viewing on line and callable in game with chat command "webrank". working on that now... but i am new to php, so might take a day or two... -DPK-

after a long battle, i finally kicked IIS in its digital nutsack and made it my bitch!!! we now have a much faster download server at our disposal and map downloads are much more tollerable!! as always... doing what i can with what i have... -DPK-
