Update Headaches...

As some of u may have noticed, the servers have been unreliable since the update... i have managed to stabilize them, but had to shut down beetles mod till he comes out with a patch reflecting the new offsets... hope that will be soon... till then u will notice some things are missing from the servers... (low grav) this is a temporary condition and i will change it back just as soon as all the correct patches are issued -DPK- Edit: ok.. its almost done now... u will see that most things are back to normal... head shots only plugin still needs fixing and scoring plugin is not updated yet... dev. teams are working on them. i am sure they will be updated in next couple days... outside of the 2 i mentioned, please post any bugs u may notice in the server bugs thread. thanx Posted by cybersquare420   0 Comments May 22, 2009 11:38 AM

No More Body Shotting NOOBS!!! XD

the fine gents over at Allied Modders finally found the time to think about the plugin i have been bugging about... And They Did Well! From now on when u are a sniper and are shooting the sniper rifle the only shots that will cause damage are head shots. all body shots and noscope shots are ignored by the game... Time for the snipers to step it up a notch. In return for this serious NERFing of the all powerful sniper, those brave enough to stick with their chosen profession, will be rewarded for their diligence with 3 points for every kill with the sniper rifle... happy hunting -DPK- Posted by cybersquare420   3 Comments May 17, 2009 8:48 PM

Minor Server Changes

votemap will now pull a list of all available maps rather than just the stock ones... Thanx to Lerp. for pointing this out to me... The server logon rules have been altered to better reflect the game we are trying to perpetuate... Will listen to recommendations in this regard if anyone has any... Now for the Shameless Plea!! My ISP recently jacked my rates up a fair amount and I am really having a hard time covering the bill... my wife has been pressuring me to cut our service dramatically to lower the bill... I have been successful so far, by countering with the suggestion that we cut her beloved pay channels instead... this will only work for so long... Cash would be a much more powerful argument to support our case... I would REALLY appreciate any donations anyone can muster towards this goal...
