Hmm, I should have been more specific, my fault. What I meant was this:

"But for this to work IF I decided to do that, I need everyone's participation. Another problem is that, like Luna mentioned, some people are just lazy to do that. So doing weekly downloads may not work. That's why I'd rather just have one pack, people download it one time, and they don't have to worry about downloading anything else.

To Charlie, Aixa, Ninjineer, Luna, and any one else that downloaded the "SurvivorSampleModels" and the "BossSampleModels" please delete those, since they will cause a conflict with the Server Pack due to files with the same names. The link for the server pack will be posted today. I'm writing up instructions on what you need to do (which is very easy).

Uhm. I don't want the model pack. At all. I'm only interested in the maps. But from what I understood, I have to sacrifice 10gb so I can play on server #1? lol

When I originally started this pack, the only thing I was going to include was maps. I didn't think it would go over 4GB. I actually finished the map pack part of the server pack like 2 months ago. But then I also wanted the the L4D2 survivors in the game, those only take up 120MB. I guess I got too happy that I got the L4D2 survivors working in the game, that I also wanted to include custom characters as well.

Believe me, I've tried compressing this thing down as much as possible. I looked for every possible way to make the complete model pack as small as possible and brought it down from 20GB to 10GB. The only way to make is smaller than that, is to take characters out. So I made a much lighter version, which is only 1.4GB. Will you at least consider that smaller/lighter model pack? I like Zoey as much as everyone else, but to see the same EXACT Zoey all over the place is very awkward to say the least. There's about 4 or 5 different Zoey's is the lighter pack. Same goes for the other survivors, except Louis, he only got 2.

I also forgot to mention, that these models in the pack only work server side. Meaning if you play single player offline, or multi player on another server online, you won't see those custom models (unless that server is set up and configured just like mine).

Show us that map pack that has been prepared for a long time. My survivors look different already without having to download 10 gigs.

But either way I'm waiting for any pack. I got lots of free time.

I don't know, I have a feeling people will spend a lot of time playing around with the new models and will forget to actually play the game. I mean there's no harm in several different models for each character, but you abused that freedom man lol I'll download what I have to download to continue playing in the server, I just don't wanna spend precious space in pixels I'm not even planning to use.
