Experience: Have ran a couple of servers. Started with NARPH about 5 years ago, and then played some with DWR. I started Ultra Stats for Deathb4dishonor about a year ago, running them for UO, MW, and WAW. I know Servers pretty much inside and out. Just started a new Ladder, and tournament site at Http://thesourc.net/scrim/ Ultra Stat sites are Http://thesourc.net/uostats/ Do some modding, mapping my current project is a new multiplayer shooting range. Ultra stats and the new ladder sited has put this on the back burner.

I think I have more fun setting up and running sites more than playing in them. Although I do love my COD UO. If you post any questions about me in my Clan I would think they would say I was fair about just anything. Hundreds trust me to run there stats, and expect me never to give special treatment to anyone. The Referee's can't always be everyones best friend, but being a fair person makes people your real friends no matter what your decisions are. All so I've been trying to start some new competition in UO. Being it still has some of the best competition qualitites.

Normally, "leagues" or "Ladders" tend to keep "League Admins" and Clans separate. This meaning that admins are in no way tied to any participating team, therefore providing equality and any to all suspicions to a minimum. This also helps prevent many issues down the road.

This being so, who is the user behind "leagueadmin" ; head admin; and are you providing the same kind of comfort. From what I gather at the moment, it looks like one or more member of each team is becoming an admin. Is this how it is working? Or just a coincidence.

Thats true. Admins generally don't play on any teams in the league. As an example, I played in CAL's vCoD tourny last year. We had to play Redemption, who had a CAL anti-cheat admin on their team. The entire match he was up-downing and left leaning, which was against the rules. Since it was his responsibility to review the demo (his own demo) when someone on my team disputed, he refused. As a result, Redemption was forced to forfeit the match.

Some of the |DD| Guys would be up to it for sure. I don't know it would be official clan team, or just people starting a team. The Main reason I put the Ladder, and tournament site togeather in the first place was to get some kinda of competition going. I never really got any support with it. I think the thought was it might cause conflict with smaller teams running around the clan.

I run UltraStats for DD on my own web server. I do this as my contribution for playing on there site, and I love doing it. I not a super player by anymeans, and like help regulating things more than playing.

Well u could probably just be an all out Admin if u want i mean u dont have to play or anything

and it doesn't have to be and OFFICIAL DD delegated team

just as long as there are 6 ppl per team

I agree that we need to keep it as fair as possible but with the lack of people involved, it may become hard to find admins who are just that and nothing else. Participating admins would be ok as long as we are smart enough to not allow an admin personally involved in a match to be involved in any ruling on a dispute that were to take place in said match. As long as we have 5 or 6 admins, we should be fine. Hopefully we do not have to worry too much about all of this and we just have fun.

That is just my 2 cents for what it is worth.
