When you going into a bottleneck choke point, or entering an enemy in a small corridor, in Call Of Duty® Modern Warfare 2™ it's more likely to rush in and kill everything, sometimes it is chance whether you live, or you die.

But what if we used breaching tactics, and bust through that bottleneck while sustaining minimal casulties.

Well that is why I am here to discuss and get some opinions on the whole topic.

Firstly, basic Breach and Clear tactics in steps:

1: Units take up position around doorway.
2: Units move in swiftly one by one and take up individual fire positions.
3: Every individual unit covers a specific area, this can be left, right or directly ahead.
4: Remaining units outside cover the area around doorway, to make sure breaching units do not get shot in the back, they cover left, right or directly opposite of doorway.
5: If a specific objective needs to be undertaken in the room/area, the breaching units carry that out while remaining units keep watch outside.
6: Objective is completed, all units form up for next objective.

This requires mass amount of communication and some skill. This is why it is a professional way to clear out an area.

Points of Interest:
*Every individual unit covers up their own fire area, this is so that a unit does not have to split his/her fire between targets.
*To avoid a clumsy mistake, units go into the area one after another, however, it must be done quickly to make sure that all opposition can be neutralized quickly.
*Some units remain outside to make sure that the breaching units do not get hit from behind, with this tactic, the squad inside the room can carry out an objective without worry.
*The units outside also cover individual fire areas, this is also used so units do not have to split their fire between multiple targets.

Another related area when breaching is to maintain single file formation, this is so that if a friendly in front is downed the unit behind can engage without being previously targeted. This is also in case friendlies run out of ammo and need backup from behind.

In addition to all this, utilizing different weapons when breaching can suprise and confuse your enemy.
