Hi guys,
I FEEL that now is the time to discuss the issues surronding the formation of VMF-214 and the 475th. THIS is true for each of our VMF members in that we ALL have come from the noble home known as "Merrills Marauders."

I would like to say that there is no other home finer then the 475th Merrills Marauders clan. This was my first home and that I will never ever allow anything to happen or hurt my 475th family or its members.

As like any members within a family, the family will grow and its children will move on and start other lives. This is what I belive has happened here with VMF. I nor most of our small family here can be dedicatd enough to really give a commitment to a clan with such goals and lasting commitment to the DOD community.

I would like to bridge a strong and lasting relationship with the VMF and the 475th. I see VMF members committing to the 475th and its goals by supplementing them in whatever ways possible. If VMF and the 475th can become an allie in BFE or TPG then this will be our a goal for both 475th and VMF members. Think of it like being in the same army but a diffent division.

I hope that this can be done as General Merrill is a great role model and leader who has been very generous to all us.

Although you are small and are numbers will not be like that of the 475th its not our intention to replace but to assist the 475th family in becoming a stronger clan in the gaming community. VMF members will and are encouraged to continue to play and visit the 475th web site and servers for this is part of our family. Family is first as friends come and go......

verry well said duffman you do have a way with words, I to hope that we can grow with the 475th as friends and allies for thats what they are to me friends and allies. I will take the battle field with that nobel house anytime and any place

I too agree that we should hold a special place for the 475th above all other DoD clans. They are our home base, our former clan, and former brothers. I *salute* them one and all!

I will always think well of them and continue to fight for them, even as I fight now for VMF.

I hope VMF and 475th can be like America and Great Britain. May we hold a unique and special relationship that is the strongest among all the clans of DoD!
