Introduction

I know it's been done before in various forms and shapes, but I've decided to create new database of planets from the Starbound universe. Apart from standard browsing and planet adding there are also features that allow you to map your own journey.

Let me introduce you to StarboundMap.com

At the moment this is the biggest datasource of planets. I've included data from the most popular sources (orcz.com and the Unified Spreadsheet) as well as original content. With over 700 planet reports this is the best place to search for anything in the Starbound universe.

It's also worth mentioning that this page works well on mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets. So you can use it without alt-tabbing all the time.

Planet list

The planet list contains list of all planet reports added by community. On the top of the list there are powerful search and filter tools. You can limit the list only to reports most interesting to you. Search and filter can be combined.

For example:
- You can search for Apex structures in the latest version of the game in X sector by setting the filter like that: [url to filtered page]

- Or planets rich in ore deposits [url to filtered page]

- Or petals [url to filtered page]

- Or advanced weapons in X sector [url to filtered page]

- Or you are looking for earth-like planet to settle down: [url to filtered page]

Contribution and saving your voyage

You are most welcome to add your own descriptions of planets to the database or adding information to existing reports by using comments. Please make the reports as detailed as possible.

Saving your journey
You are not required to log in to be able to add planet reports. If you do login, you will be able to view and edit your own reports in the future. This way you can create a log of your voyage across the Starbound universe. In future updates I'll add options to publish your log as a separate page. Maybe some of you will create cool stories.
