Hey guys! Today i was playing with the nickname StoneD AnniE, I played for some hours and no one complained (perhaps because do not have any admin online at the moment)

When I went to play at night, there were few players online and I left in spectator mode because I do not like playing against BOTS and I went to watch series (so i was afk)

I think someone told me to change my nickname and since I was not in the moment I was banned for a week ... Surely if I was in the moment or knew it was against the rules I would have changed at the same time.

You have played on our server long enough to know the rules and have accepted them a few times. That is when it prompts you to press a button to acknowledge and accept. Most people do not take the time to read the rules. There are many more rules that are not posted and we are working on updating our server and our website/forum with all of the rules.
Another one of our rules is not to be AFK or in spectate for long periods of time. If there are players in Spectate and AFK, the teams cannot auto balance and there are many times where the teams will be lopsided.
One more rule we have is No Camping/Laming. I have witnessed you run past flags SEVERAL times and not cap them because you would rather get the kill than let the opponent know where you are. We are seeing a lot more of this type of play and we are asking players not to do it. Our server is more of a TEAM server. We want players to work together and capture objectives. It adds more of a FLOW to the game and it keeps people that check their rank every 5 minutes off of our server. There are other servers that do allow that type of play if this does not fit your style.

I will talk to NYC about your ban and see what his thoughts are.

I talked to NYC about your ban. According to him, he asked you to change your name and you would not.
As for now, the BAN stands. it is only for a few more days.

No I did not ignore it.
NYC informed me that he contacted you to change BEFORE you went into Spectate.
So that is why I commented that HE ASKED YOU TO CHANGE AND YOU WOULD NOT. He was using an Alias name on the server at the time so you did not know there was an admin on and you chose to IGNORE his requests.
Our admins do that from time to time, to keep an eye on things.
People tend to "act differently" when there is an admin playing.

So, if you have more to say, you can join the steam forum and talk to him directly or friend him and PM him.

Even IF you were AFK and didn't see a message from NYC, I can't understand why you would think that name you chose would be acceptable on our servers when we don't even allow profanity!

Hes lying. If that were true, there would be something on the console to justify as proof.

But I do not blame him, if he does not like someone, it's better to be banned ... you can increase the duration of the ban if you want, it was an honor to play with players who do not take the game personally.

It's one thing to come here and politely disagree with an admin. It's quite another thing to come here and accuse an admin of lying. Perhaps there isn't anything "on the console" because he warned you verbally as he is one to use the mic more than most. I can tell you that NYC is probably the slowest of all our admins to issue a ban.

As I said in my last post, use commonsense and decency.
