I'm totally confused... never used any sort of cheat, hack, or anything ever? Totally bemused where this ban has come from. Hoping someone can shed some light on it. (also what's the recoil hack anyway!?)

Hey guys,

Just a quick update - tried to get on tonight and got the same message. Any chance someone could have a look? I play pretty much exclusively on the 475th servers (have done for a few years now) to blow off some steam and struggling to find any server online that comes close to the community or the modifications.

Any chance someone could look into this?

I will contact KitKat who is the Admin that has banned you for using a cheat and let him decide how he would like to proceed.

I suggest you read our "Rules" before you come back in if he does remove the ban.

I have fully read the rules and understand them explicitly. I've never used any sort of cheat/hack (why bother? I generally play on Ava 24/7 with bots) and taking a look at my stats you'll see just how dire I am with regards to kill/death ratio.

I genuinely don't understand where this has come from. Just want to get to the bottom of it (or if someone's using my nick on the servers and breaking the rules, I'd like to find out who, and why).

Anyway I appreciate you getting in touch with KitKat. If there's any logs from my system I could provide to prove my innocence, let me know and I'll happily send them.

Appreciate it may take some time, and I'm not pushing for a response, but I took the time to do a quick bit of digging myself and I can't help but feel this was definitely a case of mistaken identity. If you have a look at my connection event history (http://marauders.hlstatsx.com/player_histories/events/306796) you can see I played for a while on the Ava 24/7 server with a couple of players - before that on Caen with an admin present (neither of which had KitKat online at the time, unless I'm totally mistaken). I was doing well on the Ava 24/7 until real humans came online and then it went downhill score wise. After that I disconnected and around 24 hours later tried to reconnect and received the ban message which is definitely peculiar. Oddly, I don't show up on the ban page here (http://marauders.hlstatsx.com/ban_list/dod) although I get that may not be updated automatically.

With regard to logging on my system - I can't seem to see any logs my end that would prove my innocence here but please let me know if there's anything I may have missed- happy to provide.

I miss playing already!

I have not seen KitKat online yet.
I will try and send him a PM.
Also, there are admins on even when players think
there are not. We find that players "act" differently
when there is an admin on.
