Doing great man. Been a long time, for sure. Nice to see some of you still around and hopefully doing well. Definitely been missing the "good'ol days" when my biggest worry was whether we'd have to play another back-to-back-to-back game of Barnburner!

How you doing lately? What sparked putting this together?

After spending far too much time wow, I got back to my roots of FPS gaming. Serge and I started playing some BF3 for a while and then started tinkering around in some public UT servers as we were pining for the "old days". We didn't like how the servers were set up or the map rotations. This brought about some discussion and we agreed that for whatever reason those "old days" and that series of games were the best days of our gaming careers. Despite the disagreements, arguments, and hacking...somehow in our minds those days in UT were hands down the best days.

I started looking at some of my old maps, then eventually began collecting whatever I could find (while there was still time) of all of our old stuff. I Installed all versions of UT, started playing and it blossomed into the idea of tossing up a couple of servers. Turns out 2 game servers and the Teamspeak server are cost less than the 2 wow accounts I shut down .

Took a couple of weeks getting the servers setup like we want them. Knocked loose ALOT of cobwebs.

So we have been playing there when we get that "urge". We figured some of you guys might also feel this same urge from time to time and so...The Wayback Machine.

I would love to plan a night or two and get as many old UT lovers in there for some good times.

Concerning maps...What is on there now is a mix of our old stuff, the main stream maps from the public servers of that time, and some maps I found rather interesting. I will put on whatever people want to play. If you have stuff archived locally and you want it on there, hit me up man. Be more than happy to throw it on!

Well, I'm glad you took the initiative on this because I'd definitely be down for some UT2k4.

I did the Warcrack thing too... went balls-deep into that game and could never find anything near the satisfaction I had when playing with TDC in the LGI135/35 days.

I bet digging through those "cobwebs" was fun times! I remember the hassles we had finding a decent server back in the day with a scattered membership ping-wise. Unfortunately I don't have anything archived, but at this point, I really would be happy with just the basics. Oldies-but-goodies sort of thing.

I'll keep checking back here to see what gets cooked up as far as play nights.

I still have quite a few I made while in ~KoS~...The good old HoleInOne and WesternGibs were a fragfest...It's a longshot, but I might even try to come up with another decent 3v3 map when given some time...

I'm getting all 'goosebumpy' just thinking of getting the crew (as many as possible) together again and fraggin' out...

man its strange to see this now, a decade since the last update, but for me 22 years. if anyone sees this, im demos son. and i remember playing with some of you, and having a blast learning my love for LG IG. You all are legends in my book.

Hey dude. We occasionally jump on Discord still and chat it up. We also still play UT2004 a few times a week (well, some of us - lol). You're more than welcome to hang out with us and play some slightly different LGI. It's still low grav insta but has multidodge (gotta take what you can get with a 20 yr old game).
