I am getting the same thing for black ops.

my blackops server says its offline but its not
i talked to gameservers.com and they told me to come to you guys

any idea why it doesnt pickup my server anymore?

PS. it says its off for 3days now

I get the same thing for a large number of Black Ops servers.

hello my servers are not tracking and haven't been for 2 days now can some one help me. my server ip for my black ops servers are 66.55.149.5:3164 173.199.102.54:3074 can some one fix this please. Thank you

While a moderate number of Black Ops servers are not being scanned, the majority are being scanned correctly.

I am not in a position to be certain it is not a Gametracker issue, but it would be very rare, and when it has happened, it usually affects a large number of servers (i.e. hundreds of servers)

Also keep in mind that some plugins and occasionally patches/upgrades to game software have caused problems for people in the past.

Step 3: Is the query being blocked on your network?

no, we have no control over this


Step 5: Does the server show online in some cases, but not others?

No, not since it went down past few days

You may have no control over this, but I can assure that we don't either.

Some providers have decided in the past (usually without realising/understanding) that the scanner requests are some sort of attack and blocked Gametracker scanner IPs.

Thank you for the link to the things to check.

However, every BlackOps server is through gameservers. They have had an exclusive license to provide servers for the game since release in 2010.

My server, along with all these others, have been scanning perfectly fine for years and all of a sudden stopped.

While a large number may be scanning, if you look at the list right now, of the top 50 servers by rank, only #1, #31, and #36 are showing up correctly. While these missing servers, including my own (#6), are indeed up.



I have started a ticket with gameservers to see if they changed anything router/firewall related, and they are looking. But it affects servers at many different locations, so it seems that may be unlikely, since it doesn't affect every server in each location.

If I search for all black ops servers, it lists servers ranked 1 through 148. However, it only lists 40 servers in that range. Assuming that's full range, that seems to me that it is not scanning 3 of 4 correctly.

If I do a targeted search for servers with the word crouch in them (my kind of game), I get 17 servers with only 2 showing up correctly. That even fewer being scanned correctly.

I personally know nothing of BlackOps, so wasn't aware of the exclusive hosting by gameservers.com


We will have to wait for some feedback from Gametracker developers or Gameserver support.
