There's an abuse of the "Bot Rule Limit" from fake servers, most of them now are just using 2-3 bots (Since by the rules, you can't be banned for) and then use 20-30 bots to rank up and go back to 2-3 for a bit. I tried reporting this servers with the peak bot usage but since the reports cannot be answered instantly, the administration checked said servers and seemed that the server is respecting the rules (3 or less bots on).

So, im also giving an idea here, can it be done a new rule, not allowing fake servers that are clearly malicious but yet don't get banned since the bot rule?

How can a server be deemed to be 'clearly malicious' if it is not in breach of the rules at the time it is inspected?
Gametracker already acts as Judge, Jury and Executioner, would you have us now act without evidence as well?

The rules on bots are not the issue.
That rule was brought in to clearly define the parameters.
When servers are found to be in breach of the rules they are deranked or banned accordingly.

So, a server that copies the name of others to attract people to get in to infect them with a virus isn't against the rules?

The issue isn't the rule, the issue is the fake servers are abusing said rule to rank up, then they put 20-30 bots for a day to rank more and go back to the 2-3 rule.

You can collect said evidence if you wish to do so, it is pretty clear that the servers are malicious and are pretending to be another server but, if the administration doesn't care about it fine. I'll keep reporting the ones that are over the bot limit then, sadly, the malicious ones that are abusing said rule will continue to do so.

Gametracker does not control the internet nor the hundreds/thousands of server platform suppliers or the tens of thousands of servers that they host.

Ask yourself how much you pay for the service provided by Gametracker? And then ask yourself how it could fund chasing tens of thousands of servers 24 hours per day to ensure they are perfectly inline with the rules for the full 24 hours each day?

Admins and moderators give their time for free.
That means we also have actual jobs to do that pay our bills and really do not have all day and night to monitor every server.
There is automation where it is possible and practical.

The service is 'as is, where is'.
