I have annoying problem and i cant find answer for it.. I did install GT and did try it. Result = no sounds. I tried to play UrT.

If i start UrT normally, sound are normal. When i try to start it from GT, no sounds.. only those GT sounds.

Does anyone know answer for this? if that makes any difference, i use mac osx.

Maybe its something really easy.. But thanks anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having sound issues with Urban Terror and GT Lite.

Does Urban Terror have sounds when you start it normally, but also have GT Lite running?

GT Lite uses both system sounds and speech. You cannot disable these entirely, but you can disable sounds from the "Sound Notifications" panel in the "Settings" window. Disabling these may help.

and thanks for the answer. Unfortunately UrT stays muted, even if i start it normally when i have GT Lite running. I did also try to disable and enable sounds from Sound Notifications panel and try different combinations but none of these didnt help.

Have you tried any games other than Urban Terror? That will help us rule out if it is just GT Lite + Urban Terror. Still a shame that this is happening.

Is there any additional information that you would be willing to post about your Mac? Most notably, Mac OS version, type of Mac, and any additional audio hardware that you may be using. Im using MacBook Pro 13" mid 2010. OSX version 10.6.8. Nothing additional.

I havent tried other games, usually playing only Urban Terror.

Maybe this is just normal for macbook pros? i hope that you can fix it some day if it is.

Yep same here.

Macbook Pro 2010 w/ 10.6.8... just installed GT Lite and the sound is gone.

I also haven't tried any other game 'cause I don't play any other game.
