So i was looking into my sver information and noticed the line "This server has been detected to report fake or idle clients and it is not eligible to be ranked."

The Server is running since over 5 years and since 3 years it is on gametracker and never had this problem.

So why is the server rank disabled?

So wrote two times in this http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=75205 thread and the rank is still disabled!

Why did i not get any explanation or a message so i would know why the server rank is disabled?

If it is the gametype then why was it working 5 years? I mean i would use AvP as gametype but it is not availible. The only gametypes which are working are Natural Selection and Sniper Elite V2

Why were you never banned before?
Probably because Gametracker admins do not spend all day, every day reviewing each one of the 12000+ servers registered. A server is normally only reviewed (as I understand it) after it has been reported by another Gametracker member.

Before you ask; they do not simply believe every report is true. You can see this by the number of people that complain about a reported server not being banned.
Each report is investigated by Gametracker itself to ensure it is valid.

Unfortunately the "deranking" message is only a single message for any server that is deranked.

If you'd prefer it to not have be in the state of "deranked", we can take the alternative route for your case - blocking it. When we come across people intentionally abusing the listings in this manner by adding servers of any random game, we will usually just derank it so they can still have something tracked.... even though they should be deleted because they should not be there to begin with.

Thats why i ask for unban. The server isn't fake or had idle players, its a normal Alien vs. Predator server.

I ask also two time for unban but nothing!

You did not add Alien vs. Predator (2010) 4 years ago because it uses the same server requests (servertype) as Natural Selection (Was the answer 4 years ago), so everyone with a AvP Server shoueld use Natural Selection as Game Type

I also don't add servers of random games it is on gametrackers since 4 years and you admins said 4 yerars ago you don't add AvP as Game Type because there are not so many servers, and as i wrote before, we should use Natural Selection instead.

I thought 2 weeks aga i change the game type now to Sniper Elite 2 because it is from the same Developer but nothing...still banned from ranking.

Bans/re-ranks are nothing to do with me.
I am just an innocent bystander that was trying to explain. Not an admin.

If there are too few users interested in a particular game being added to the site, the chances of it being added are lower than more popular games. That doesn't mean impossible, just less likely.

It would be inappropriate for us to advocate that server owners misuse the ranking system by adding their servers to the wrong game. If the true game is not actually supported, sure it's generally not much of a problem to add it under a game that uses the same query protocol, but you should have no expectation that it be ranked.

I don't get the point of having the top 10 Natural Selection servers actually be of a different game. Please explain, thanks!

Explain to me please? 4-5 years ago there was [WPC] with 3-4 Avp Servers, mine and 3-4 other server all under Natural Selection and only 2/3 real Natural Selection server.

You mean random or from me?

Any real 5 servers of the game type as I recall are acceptable.
The more the better of course.

I recall a number of servers playing under the wrong game type, but it was some time ago.
Tremulus servers would always be at the top of Q3 rankings, as they could manage 30+ players.
More than 12 on any 'normal' Q3 map would spoil the game completely.
Consequently, trem was always top of the list.
