The banners generated by this site are all hosted through an insecure sub domain. Security certificates through Let's Encrypt are free and a no brainer if you have shell access to your server.
Because my website is https only my users get a notification that my site is not secure when I add one of this sites' banners because that results in a https site mixing in insecure http content (your banner). Even if you do not have shell access to your server you can still request a Let's Encrypt certificate be attached to your Apache vhost by submitting a support ticket to your shared hosting provider. |

I don't think they'll be updating this site.
If you still need HTTPS for banners, try this site https://images.weserv.nl - it basically proxies images and thus allowing for them to be HTTPS. Example: https://images.weserv.nl/?url=cache.www.gametracker.com/server_info/ts.myns.co:9987/b_560_95_1.png |

Think this request been up before, but why cant you serve the banner over https?
Everything points to the moving from http to https and http/2. And with projects like letsencrypt.org it's rather easy to automating things and its free. Other CA's offer simular paid versions if you require EV certs. Not serving over https gives vistors a warning of insecure content and so banner get missing as a result. Is there any plans of supporting https for Game server banners? Edit: see topic moved tnx. so could you share a reply when u get the chance? seems to be working but the link has changed from what i can tell. It used to be cache.www.gametracker.com and now cache.gametracker.com. The Subject DN in the issued certificate from cloudflare has the FQDN for the cloudflarename (ssl453916.cloudflare.com) and also a wildcard in *.gametracker.com. The url cache.www.gametracker.com do not validate as that address should have been added in the Subject DN. But never the less its a easy fix on my end so great work GT!

Recently, i've notice, my website wont appear as secured (ssl certificate) because of gametracker.
In order to have my website "safe", every link of my website should contain https into it. Okay, if I add the "s" into http://www.gametracker.com, it's fine, but the problem is the link "http://cache.www.gametracker.com". If I add the "s" in that link, the banner of my server wont appear anymore. Why don't you guys get an ssl certificate? There are also free options. It's not so hard to get it. I just cant think of any other solution so far. I am eager to get an answer and to fix this issue! ![]() ![]() Chillstep - Clubing - Dubstep - Drum'n'Bass - House - Rap ![]() ![]() ![]() |

We need HTTPS for HTML banners for proper work with websites. Now 2017 year, SSL is everywhere. And google lower in search the sites that have not SSL.
Please add HTTPS for HTML banners. It is really needed. |
