Hey all,
I've got a small dedicated server running off a spare gaming laptop, and everything is sweet, it's just that I have a dynamic IP address... Now I've installed no-ip and it's working, and I add the no-ip address into gametracker and it add's it fine, but when it registers it adds the dynamic IP, not the static no-ip address... Is there anyway I can change this so it adds the no-ip address so I records the stats over a long period of time? And also so I don't have to re-register the server everytime my IP changes..? Thanks Anti |

As mentioned on the add server form, the domain name will be resolved to the IP address. GT does not support dynamic dns addresses.

You can set it up through a proxy server, but be carefull to chose a close server as it's ping will increase when going through a proxy. But then you'll get a static ip.

You can add either, but at this time GT will resolve a domain name to an IP.
