When trying to connect to any Urban terror server after installing GameTracker Lite i get the following error:

Unable to communicate with the GT-Lite in-game service.
please try again shortly or contact the GT Lite support team for further assistance.

What could that be?

Hi ronipk,

Which version of GT Lite are you running - Windows or Mac?

Typically "in-game service" related errors are caused by problems during installation. Reinstalling GT Lite may resolve the issue.

If you are using the Windows version of GT Lite, there are cases where anti-virus/firewall/security software could conflict with the GT Lite installation. In this case, you may want to disable these types of programs temporarily while installing GT Lite.

Hello again,

I'm sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue.

For further assistance, would you be able to post the log files generated by GT Lite? I may be able to find some information within your logs that can help resolve the issue. On the main GT Lite window, there is a menu option that states "Zip log files". This menu item is located under "Help -> Debug".

This forum does not allow attachments, but websites such as http://www.fileswap.com make it easy to share files!

Hi amon6089,

I'm sorry to hear that you are also experiencing this issue. If you have tried the same remedies that I recommended to the original poster, you may submit log files or a bug report.

There is also another thread where another poster had the same issue and was able to resolve it. See this thread: http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&post=254245#post254245
