There are bots for BF2 that go by "*DH*Player" followed by a number usually, but I am guessing they may be able to go by other names.

Is it possible to mark all players with a ping of 0 as bots? I've only seen real players with a ping if 0 if they are hosting the server from their own computer.

They got freaking 12 servers in top 140. That just AINT FAIR. Also i can proove all this by the bots ip, 0-ping, no rank and so on.

Its unfair to destroy our only 1 server and let those who use even more bots and have higher ranks are allowed to be ranked.

Thanks for taking your bots off.

When did it become illegal to use idle bots on your server ?? all the top servers use them , there provider supplies them free of charge when they rent the server...

Know this is an old topic but it seems a bit petty or is it you just dont go after clan that rent your servers..

Anyways from what i can see the bots dont help rank the server up as they only appear when someone joins and show as bot?? if you look at top 100 you will see they still use them in 99% of servers..

Never been illegal.

so why the big deal about game bots ?? they dont do anything and dont help rank the servers ?? they only help get server going when its slow,,

Its even harder to fill BF2 servers now with all the new games..

The 6 player start on a 32 player is ridiculous,, if we rent servers why cant we set the rules ,,at the end of the day if we all stop renting then what ?? find it hard to believe you would de-rank a server because of some idle bots guys.

It is rather unfair for bots to be counted in the rankings. If you had a server full of 32 real players 24/7, would you honestly want a server that has had the same 32 bots for the past 14 days to be ranked with yours?

If you rent your own server, that is correct - you can set your own rules. However, this does not mean you can dictate the rules for GameTracker and make the rankings completely pointless.
