as you can see a lot of servers is shown as "down"

Yeah, It appears its only 1.6 servers though.

xFire is able to query the 23000 port and get a reply, but it takes longer than usual. I was also able to check that 23000 is in fact listening as it should using Microsoft qryport.exe (a program for checking the active ports on a server)

Is it possible that Gametracker's requests are just timing out? Like I said, xFire takes a lot longer to load a query, but it IS able to.

Edit------------

Then again, the in-game server browser also does not show 1.6 servers. So the problem is more likely to be with GameSpy.

Your server took over 30 seconds to scan successfully when I attempt to scan it on HLSW at hlsw.org. When it does scan, it scanned intermittently, timing out very often. Once you resolve that issue, I would assume GT will scan it properly, but you can update us about that if it does not.

If it is a gamespy problem as exile_android indicates it could be, you'd have to contact them as we have no control over it.
