GT Lite is not recognizing my GameTracker login.

I put in my GameTracker username and password and I get this:
"You have entered an invalid user name or password. Please verify your login and try again."


I know I'm typing my login info in correctly. What's the problem?

All letters must be in lower case like "bossplayer" not "Bossplayer".

Maybe it's a problem with the installation.

I just got a new PC and I thought I had it updated completely. But when I installed GT Lite, it had to install Windows updates for C++ first.

So do it and try again to login.

I uninstalled GT Lite. And updated my PC completely.
D/L GT Lite again and tried to install it again.

Same results.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still having problems with this. I did receive your bug report.

Here is what I would suggest:

To rule out whether or not this is related to just your 'bossplayer' account or GT Lite, can you try the following:

1. Create another GameTracker account.
2. Try to log into GT Lite from the new account.

If both accounts are failing to login, then it is likely that there is a problem with GT Lite on your computer.

Another suggestion would be to send me a copy of your GT Lite log file. Since this log file can contain sensitive information, it would be best sent over a GT private message to me. Websites like http://www.fileswap.com make it easy to share files quickly. The log file that I would need is "GameTracker.log", and it resides on your computer in "%AppData%\GameTracker".
