Yesterday GT had some maintenance so threre is possible he tried int his time to register. Say him to try now or if he still had problems write again here.

Could you have him take a screenshot with the code entered? Be sure that it is only a screenshot of the verification code (an image shown) or just that personal information is not shown in the screenshot.
Also, which browser and version is he using?

We will consider this resolved due to lack of response and that it was an issue on his end due to a lack of anyone else reporting this issue.
