g'day,
I host a few servers, one of which Quake 3 Arena on port 27960 (default), however of recent the port has been somehow attacked to some data-leecher that users extream bandwidth off the server through that port. I can move the server port up and down, and it's all fine, so for the time being I might sit the server on 27965 which is fine, but I would like it to still be on GT (it's registered on GT as the other port), I thought I could change the port via the Manage section, of which I only see Query Port, and when I change that to the rightful port its now on, it doesn't scan and says "The server ports do not match". Is there away to change the port, not the IP. as it's now on a different port. Thanks. |

There is no feature to change the join port of a server page. You can add the new IP:Port combination at http://www.gametracker.com/servers/

I don't want to come across as unappreciative, but in my experience of using GT (quite a few years), it doesn't seem to have all that many advanced features.
One of my previous suggestions was to allow 'server owners' to move all the scores on one server to another IP if the server was moving address. great work though, ![]() cheers. |
