Hello,
My Minecraft Servers are all "Unnamed". I tried out with MinecraftViewer. But if i'm using mcmyadmin with it, it doesn't work. I know that thousands of ppl are using mcmyadmin. Please can u add minequery support? It is not possible to claim my server at the moment. mcmyadmin uses a own file for Server name. Maybe there is a Problem but im not sure. I set: enable-query=true query.port=25777 motd=GameTracker server-name: My Servername I can't add server with that port. But the port for minequery works fine. I tried to change the ports -> 25777 for minequery and the other for MinecraftViewer, still only minequery did work. Also i tried to disable minequery -> No response. Also i tried to use the gameport as query port: 25565 -> No response. // EDIT (LOGFILE CHECKED) If i try to connect with my defined port / same as Server port it says: 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [SEVERE] java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 81 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [SEVERE] at net.minecraft.server.Packet.a(Packet.java:75) 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [SEVERE] at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.h(NetworkManager.java:149) 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [SEVERE] at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.c(NetworkManager.java:268) 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [SEVERE] at net.minecraft.server.NetworkReaderThread.run(SourceFile:76) 2012-04-27 10:23:16 [INFO] /208.167.225.13:41769 lost connection If i try to use a free port it works: Query running on serverip:25777 btw, important to add to your help description: U have to set server-ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in the properties file. If you don't set this, the query use: 0.0.0.0:port Thanks, Rowtag Links: http://www.mcmyadmin.com

Hi,
Yes, Minequery is supported but I do not believe it supports a server name. Also you can remove the server-name variable. However, it would be recommended that you remove minequery and update to the most recent version as query support is built right in. Try taking these steps: 1. Update to the latest version of the server 2. Remove query plugins 3. Set the query and join ports to the same value If this does not work, please post the IP, port and query port and I will take a look and see if I can find anything about scanning it. As with any game server, you do need to set it up to work with an IP address, that is correct. If you do not, your server may not work for that IP properly. ![]() |

Maybe that the Problem? /// Edit -> I tested that, the Problem is that this shit use UDP -.- argh! unsecure s**t Is it possible to hide the query port on the Servers-page for other users? This is like u show a thief a open door ![]()

Hi,
What is the IP, Port, and Query port? If you check the log again after trying to scan it, you should have entries similar to the following: [INFO] Setting default query port to 25565 [INFO] Query running on xx.xx.xx.xx:25565 Each server in your favorites is working so I am still unable to test the server you are trying to add. ![]() |

Yes its working now. but i had to open 3 new Ports with the UDP (Protocoll) and that is very unsecure for Servers. Thats why i ask to hide this Queryport for other users. But i see its already hidden, so they can't see it right?
Thanks for your support! ![]() |

Hi,
If they view the "manage" page, they will be able to see what it is. The chance that you will have problems is relatively low, unless you currently have a track record with an abusive user. However, as with any thing in the computer world, there is always the potential for abuse. ![]() |
