Everytime I press 'Join' on one of those unreal tournament servers I end up crashing. "unreal tournament has stopped working.icd"

I tried both 1.3.8 and 1.2.1 versions of game tracker lite. Nothing worked.

"... You could try disabling "Track game events" and "Enable screenshots" for any games giving you an error. These options are available under the "Edit Game" option in the "Game Setup"."

Tried disabling them, I even tried changing the compatibility settings of the unreal tournament launcher to "run as administrator" it still won't work. Maybe you can email me and teamview me from your desktop to try and get it to work. My email is alandxthor@gmail.com

Does UT crash when you launch only the game through GT Lite (From the "Games" tab)? Try launching UT without joining a server through GT Lite.

Also, you mentioned in your previous post that UT always runs from disc. Did you try finding a way to install it to your computer?

It crashes when I click join server, I can't even get to the loading video. It crashes at the UT banner. I also have Unreal Tournament GOTY... are there any servers for GOTY? I probably tried joining a different server that wasn't meant for GOTY.

to run unreal tournament on my laptop I need a disc every time. Is there a way I can install it without using the disc every time?

I'm not sure exactly how many different distributions of UT exist - but regardless of GOTY edition, you should be able to join any of the servers on GT (providing your game is patched and up-to-date).

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the GOTY edition on hand. You may want to check the instructions that came with the game to see if there are other installation options. Let me know what you find, as adjusting the installation may resolve the crashing.

I really don't know how to update GOTY. Is there a website I can go to?

Typically game publishers will include support related links on the game disc. I would recommend browsing the game installation media for "help" or "readme" files. If that fails, a google search may also provide links to the proper support channels for this game.

Support may be limited, however, since this is an older game.
