Hello typhome,
Your server is not responding on the gamespy4 protocol. Please review our minecraft guide for anything you may have missed http://www.gametracker.com/games/minecraft/forum.php?thread=69458 Users also have better luck setting their query port to 25565. Please ensure the following: 1. You have the required config settings 2. You are running the most recent version of the server 3. You are not running extra server query plugins like minequery/mincraftviewer. ![]() |

Hello burn,
My server is running with Minequery plugin. If server don't use minequery plugin, then gametracker couldn't scan my server. But it's with minequery plugin and gametracker can scan it still. Server config: allow-nether=true enable-query=true allow-flight=false query.port=25565 level-type=DEFAULT minequery-port=25566 enable-rcon=false level-seed= max-build-height=256 spawn-npcs=true white-list=false debug=false spawn-animals=true online-mode=false pvp=true difficulty=1 gamemode=0 spawn-monsters=true view-distance=10 generate-structures=true motd=Prica Minecraft Server server-name=Prica Minecraft Server server-ip=188.165.140.156 server-port=25565 max-players=30 level-name=prica CraftBukkit version is 1.2.5 R4.0 (Almost recommended build by Bukkit) // 2012-07-07 23:37:44 [INFO] Starting GS4 status listener 2012-07-07 23:37:44 [INFO] Query running on 188.165.140.156:25566 ---- Can you claim this server to my own server? I can't do even that, if servername isn't displayed.

Hello again,
As mentioned in the Minecraft setup guide, you should not run extra server query plugins since the query protocol was added to the server itself post-beta. There could potentially be conflicts with multiple protocols running at once. On the craftbukkit version you are running, you won't be able to get a server name (from the motd variable, as server-name does not exist) unless GT can scan your server using the gamespy4 protocol (built in) instead of minequery. Try removing minequery and setting up 25565 for both query and join port. I have deleted the server so you can re-add it under that query port. You will also need to make sure 25565 is open in any firewall you might run and/or portforwarded in the router, if applicable. ![]() |

Hello burn,
I removed minequery plugin and set query.port=25565 and join port 25565. They're now same port. I've tried add server into gametracker (join 25565 and query 25565) and gametracker can't scan this server. 188.165.140.156:25565 Almost +20 players in my server... (Server is rented at minecraft hosting) Config allow-nether=true level-name=prica enable-query=true allow-flight=false server-port=25565 query.port=25565 level-type=DEFAULT enable-rcon=false level-seed= server-ip=188.165.140.156 max-build-height=256 spawn-npcs=true white-list=false debug=false spawn-animals=true online-mode=false pvp=true difficulty=1 server-name=Unknown Server gamemode=0 max-players=30 spawn-monsters=true generate-structures=true view-distance=10 motd=Prica Minecraft Server

Hello again,
I would suspect it is a firewall issue on that port. What did your host saying about the firewall? 25565 should be open. If it is not the firewall, please post the errors that are (or might) be relevant to scanning from your server log. ![]() |

Hello again,
GameTracker only requires the query port to be open. Does this apply to your server? http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server (use CTRL + F and search for "lost connection") Do you have any similar errors as mentioned in: http://www.gametracker.com/games/minecraft/forum.php?thread=70599#cfrmpsts http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&post=284790#post284790 You may be able to try re-installing the server. I am not sure if this would help. ![]() |

Hello again,
That first banner shows 8/30 players online, but the page says "No Players Online/Server setup incorrectly!" The other banner only shows very basic information unlike other servers on the site. You have confirmed: 1. Server is running the most recent version (your version works) 2. Required server.properties entries are there 3. Firewall is open and not blocking the query port in or out (should be for UDP connections, I believe) 4. No major errors in log 5. No minequery 6. You have tried to change the query port to 25565 from 25566 (this resolves it for many) I am not sure what else to suggest. The setup you have shown works on a vanilla installation of Minecraft. I have not been able to find anyone having that same error in the log in the absence of [SEVERE] errors. As I mentioned previously, you could try a reinstall. I am not sure if this will help though. What plugins do you currently run? As tedious as it may seem, you may want to try trial and error to see if removing any of the plugins solves the issue (or test a vanilla installation of the server). ![]() |
