My account has been linked by another person, i kindly asked the user to un-link my account via pm , which he refused to. I would like to know if there is any other way to do so.

Hello samtheman,

You should submit an abuse report. You can do this by clicking the flag next to the nickname on the profile. As long as you provide some sort of evidence or a good reason, we will remove it.

I already posted the reason when i created the thread , He has linked my nickname to his profile , when people want to send me pm's ... Its his profile that opens up instead of mine.

Since you did not even submit the abuse report yet for the nickname, I have done that for you. In the future, you can just do that to get a quicker response.

Hello, my nickname was hijacked (Hauptmann (SLO)), i sent two abuse reports already-still waiting-i know not the only one with problems you have to solve. For the future-how do i protect my nickname not being hijacked

You can click the report button next to the nickname on the profile. If your report is not in include, includes no message, or does not include a descriptive message, we will just skip over it.

Sorry but dont get it. As I said Ive already sent two abuse reports from the page of the player (Smederevac64) who hijacked my nickname. But doesnt matter i can let that nickname go by, I m not so personal touched by the nickname. The guy is annoying person constantly insulting others with his nationalism while we play on BIH net server, so I told him some things which probably hurt his child complexes and so he hijacked my nickname. My main question is if I will create me a new nickname how do I protect it from being hijacked again from unadolescent persons like this one

Hello,

Since there is no real way to verify ownership of a nickname like there is for claiming servers, there is always the possibility that someone might incorrectly link a name.
