Does GT allow non-steam servers?

As the title says, do they?

I read somewhere on these forums(can't remember where), that gt.com has an auto scanner for non-steam servers. This led me to believe they do not allow non-steam servers.

Currently there is a non-steam server in first place on gametracker.com. I have posted in the "fake" server thread on this forum, nothing was done. I made a video of me downloading the game from that servers website and joining without STEAM running, and sent it to burn in a PM. It has been days since i sent the PM and I'm starting to think gt doesn't care about cracked servers.

Hello,

GT does not allow non-steam or cracked advertisements on the forums. The same would go for links to non-steam downloads or other illegal items on server pages or team pages. The same would also go for GT Premium servers.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a way to auto-detect non-steam/cracked servers, therefore there is no way to filter them out of the server list. As much as we do not agree with the servers, we do not have the time to manually go through and do something about each and every one of those servers at this time.

Why don't you do what you do for fake servers? Only de-rank ones that are reported?

The download link for the server I have reported is on their servers page, located here:(pmed to you, so other people don't get it)

Hello,

If myself or other GT staff begin to have an exponentially larger amount of time to confirm the number of servers that would be reported, we will definitely consider your suggestion. Unfortunately, it would be unreasonable to ask the GT staff to check each and every one of the servers that would be reported. The solution would need to be automated.

Even if it is a blatantly obvious one like the one I am reporting? I sent you a 3min video and a screenshot of the cracked link

The servers sv_tags even say they are non-steam. Checked with HLSW using the "toggle rules" button.

sv_tags "increased_maxplayers,startmoney,no-steam"

Bump to get an obviously cheating server de-ranked.

Hello,

If they are running fake players, feel free to report it in the fake servers thread again.

Like I mentioned, we do not have the time to go through each and every potential non-steam server manually in order to confirm if they are non-steam or not. Unfortunately if an exception is made to update the "deranking" system to support dealing with non-steam servers just to deal with one specific server you do not like, we would have to do this for any other server reported to be fair.
