Hello,

If you host a server from your computer, it would be "free." I put that in quotes because, while there are no direct costs a server provider would charge, you will have to pay indirect costs like the electricity to keep your computer running and your internet bill.

You can also pay for a company to host your server for you, such as www.gameservers.com or GT Premium.

The tracking provided by GameTracker is free, though.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Hello again,

Another potential cost might be getting a static IP. Many Internet Service Providers give home users dynamic IP addresses, meaning it will change frequently. You may be able to pay for a static IP from them but I am not sure how much that would cost. If you do not have a static IP, you'll have to be repeatedly adding the new address to the site, loosing your player stats each time.
