This was a bug I ran into about a year ago with you guys, but it stopped on its own. When I first experienced it, GameTracker would randomly change the server from a Half-Life 2 Deathmatch server (which it's supposed to be) to a Half-Life 1 server. When it first started, it would do it rarely, maybe once a month or so.
As of about two weeks ago, GameTracker changes all of my servers EVERY DAY, which makes the map pictures not show up for the banner on my website, as well as erases the server's percentile, etc. These are my servers: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/74.91.115.102:27015/ http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/108.61.254.73:27015/ http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/203.217.24.111:27016/ Is there any way a staff member could PERMANENTLY change these servers to Half-Life 2 Deathmatch so I don't have to log in and do this every day? Thank you. |

Hello,
I would recommend using the correct steamappid so it does not use the app id for the incorrect game. That will resolve your issue. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Steam_Application_IDs ![]() |

This is also happening to my servers...changes gametype to Wolfenstein ET everyday...pls help:
http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:29070/ http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:29072 http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:29073 I've tried deleting the servers, changing my pass in case some hacked but this isn't the case... Strangely two other servers I added with the same ip, diff port are unaffected. Both servers aren't claimed by me yet. http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:27092 http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:27091 |

stonefiss wrote: Hello, On those servers, you have a "^1" at the beginning of the version variable. eg. http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.248.170.135:29070/server_variables/ According to maul, removing this should stop the site from moving it to WolfET. ![]() |
